Asia · 24+ destinations to browse

A hyper-efficient garden city where hawker stalls hold Michelin stars and rainforest, futuristic domes and colonial shophouses share one small island. Four cultures, four languages and four cuisines occupy 730 km² — you can eat your way across Asia in a single day and still be back at the hotel pool by afternoon.

Internet

Among the fastest on earth. Free Wi-Fi (Wireless@SG) across public spaces, malls, MRT stations and hawker centres.

SIM cards

Singtel, StarHub or M1 tourist SIMs at Changi arrivals — cheap, generous data, activated on the spot with your passport. eSIM is widely supported.

Getting around

The MRT is fast, spotless and reaches nearly everything; a contactless card or phone taps you straight through, no ticket needed. Buses fill the gaps and taxis and Grab are affordable. Almost nothing is more than an hour away, and the island is genuinely walkable between stations — though the heat means you will duck indoors often.

Visa details

Indian passport holders need a visa, applied for through an authorised agent rather than directly, so allow lead time. Holders of some other passports enter visa-free. Everyone must submit an SG Arrival Card online within three days before arrival — it is free, and the copycat sites that charge for it are not official.
