Tram Chim National Park

Đồng Tháp, Vietnam

4.5 (0)

Overview

National park. It lies in southern Vietnam, driest and most comfortable between December and April.

Why visit: Primary rainforest, karst massifs and the primate centres — Vietnam's parks protect species found nowhere else.

Things to do

›Hire a park guide — trails are poorly marked and often unsigned
›Start at dawn for any chance at wildlife
›Carry insect repellent and long sleeves; leeches are common after rain
›Check whether an overnight permit is needed for the longer routes
